Defending Biblical Marriage

entitled, Answering Newsweek. The Citizen Magazine article defends the
biblical view of marriage. It is in response to the cover story article in
Newsweek magazine December 15, 2008. The Newsweek cover story entitled, Our
Mutual Joy, by religion editor Lisa Miller, argues that the Bible doesn’t
support the anti-gay marriage philosophy. Lisa Miller twists and mangles
scripture to make her case for gay marriage, homosexuality in general, even
polygamy. It is amazing how many mainline media today seem to be rushing to
support homosexuality and same-sex marriage. They are now calling it the
civil rights issue of our day and it will be the new politically correct
(PC) point of view with the philosophy of the incoming Obama administration.
The Citizen article has links to eight rebuttals of the Lisa Miller article
written by various Christian authors. It is interesting to look at Lisa
Miller’s article to see how smooth the pro-gay movement is becoming at
twisting logic, traditional morality, scripture and common sense in favor of
homosexuality.
